Kipilipili is a Swahili word  used to describe natural hair in East Africa. It is usually used to describe very coily, rich in pattern and closely textured hair. 

The hair pattern can vary across different shapes and sizes depending on the ethnic background.

Kipilipili is an East African Natural hair brand co-founded by Natural hair Enthusiasts Ziada Gigi & Basia Wellu that founded and commercialised the natural hair movement in Tanzania. As a brand we retail, test and recommend natural hair products in Tanzania. We also organise and participate in different popup shops and natural hair events by by providing services such as hair consultation based on individual needs.
